I am 23-year-old recent graduate from the University of Missouri.  I majored in convergence jounralism with an emphasis in online journalism and video production.  Convergence combines print, radio/tv, and web journalism into one degree.  I  learned how to tell compelling video stories and how to publish stories across multiple platforms.  I acquired many technological skills and journalism practices that will be of great value to any newsroom.  Newsrooms across the country are downsizing by hiring people that can do multiple things, saving them money.  Instead of needing someone to shoot, edit, write, and publish stories – now newsrooms only need one person that can do it all.  The ability to use many software programs is my specialty.
